Nearly ten years after Bulgaria joined the EU, many of its citizens think that their problems are not of much interest to Brussels. There are many disappointed Bulgarians who now look to Russia as a more relevant neighbor, reported Reuters in an article entitled Bulgarian Vote Shows Russia Winning Hearts on EU’s Eastern Flank.
Such attitudes will probably be reinforced by the presidential run-off on Sunday. It is expected that the run-off will be won by the former commander of the airforce General Rumen Radev, who is friendly towards the Kremlin.
Radev’s position is that Bulgaria, in spite of being a NATO member, must be extra careful in terms of international alliances. This has won him support in Bulgaria since the country is heavily dependent on Russia for energy, military equipment and tourism proceeds....
But of course \"reuters\"... what else from the brit...
divide and manipulate is their strategy...
The old cold war mentality and imperial psychology...
Reuters oxymorons, there is no such a thing like influence!
Business is business and making money is making money!
Her example for you:
What was the Chinese influence in the US for 2015 since they had a trade of $600 billion that year?
Or what was the Chinese influence in the UK since you had trade with them for around $50 billion same year?
Are you communist now?
Cut the bullshit and increase cooperation and trade leading to prosperity!
We should remind the readers here about the old outdated, ugly, manipulative and conquering ideologies used by Britain and the "Influence" phenomenon in particular. When executed by them and their old empire taking almost a third of the world and enslaving it, it was a good "influence" for them....
A major unforgivable and unforgettable "influence" ideology which the Brits used is during the Russian-Ottoman war when the Brits together with the French took the side of the Ottomans against Russia and prevented them from the further liberalization the European continent/territories and the city of Constantinople!
Again and Again the Brits were scared from that increasing and growing Russian "Influence" in Europe and decided to back up and team up with the primitive and barbaric Ottomans and jeopardize the future of Europe.
Just imagine if the Russians didn't kick away the Ottomans what would the present Islamic Europe look like?
Or to put it bluntly with all that Islamic extremism and terrorism would there be an Europe today?
Brits, get rid of your old nationalistic, imperialistic and divisive outdated ill ideologies, and start cooperating with the EU, Russia and the rest of the world.
Bottom line here is that no matter who the president of Bulgaria is or who the political party in charge is, Bulgaria should have an open and flexible trade and dialogue with the entire world. Limiting trade with old partners and friends like Russia is a strategic and crucial mistake for the progress and prosperity of Bulgaria.
BTW speaking of the Brits earlier... here is what they are after...
