Bulgarian President Rosen Plevneliev will not be the country's nomination for European Commissioner, Prime Minister Boyko Borisov has said.
Borisov is yet to make clear who will be proposed as a successor to Kristalina Georgieva, the Bulgarian EU Commissioner who on Friday said she would leave in January to take over a CEO position at the World Bank Group.
After the news was announced, government sources, cited by daily 24 Chasa, said followed that Plevneliev was set to take over as the EU Commissioner representing the Bulgaria after Kristalina Georgieva's departure, sources close to the government say....
Plevneliev followed in a very primitive way the directives of the Institute for market economy and the Open society foundation.. he did not break the liberal globalist message though the Bulgarian national interests...he looked so plainly arrogant and deprived of imagination... he simply is very ineffective and did bad service to his liberal promoters and to the Bulgarian nation... ruling national state is not the same as spitting dogmatic phrases that the sponsors would like to here.
