Thousands of Hungarians took to the streets to protest against the anti-migrant policy of the government of PM Viktor Orban.
The demonstration was organised by non-governmental organisations. It took place on the eve of the referendum in which citizens are to accept or reject the quotas introduced by the EC for the distribution of refugees who have reached the member-states of the EU.
The referendum is on Sunday. Hungarians have to answer the question: “Do you agree the EU to order the mandatory placement of non-Hungarian citizens in Hungary without the agreement of Parliament?”...
