Commenting article: Russia's Putin Vows Justice after Boris Nemtsov Killing

Russian President Vladimir Putin has told murdered Boris Nemtsov's mother that "everything will be done" have the perpetrators and organizers "punished."

In a telegram to Ms Dina Yakovleva Eidmann published on the Kremlin's website, Putin has called the event of Friday evening a "vile and cynical act".

Some of Russia's opposition parties have attributed the murder to the President and his administration.

Putin himself believes it might have been "a provocation."

"Accept my deep condolence on the irreparable loss."

In his words, Nemtsov "left his mark on the history of Russia, in its political and social life." He happened take important positions "in a difficult transitional period for our country," the message reads further.

"He always declared his position openly and sincerely, defended his point of view."

Putin popular despite economic situation

Nemtsov did business, not so much politics, recently.
He was a has-been politicial figure, deeply unpopular because he was oligarchs right hand during Yeltsin era selling off to oligarchs n west Russian assets for peanuts.

The timing, to kill him after all this time, and tomorrow is March 1, a day that earlier this year was set for Opposition rally in Moscow.
http://rt.com/politics/232671-russia-navalny-propaganda-detention/

Organizers have called off the rally but Putin now said that they should hold it.

Putin, the last person who would want "the oppositon" to have a martyr just before March 1.

Who benefits? Just look at US/UK media spin, they left out all the points I made.

Sorry Washington monsters, no more color revolutions, take your old bag of tricks and shove them somewhere!

"Wows justice", "Everything will be done"... yeah, sure. There is no justice in Russia. Putin's paid media trolls are already blaming this on "Ukraine", "Muslim terrorists", "CIA". Regarding Putin's opponents, if polonium does not get them, a bullet will.

Justice?? does Putin know the lawful meaning of the word? Note I say "lawful", so far Putin has demonstrated his own form of justice but it bears little resemblance to lawful unless the word has different connotations in Russia.

Justice! Only the chosen Obama and his henchman Cameron know the correct meaning of the word. Note, I say "correct" since so far Obama and his henchman have demonstrated to the puzzled World just the Correct Justice: punitive, bloody, smelly, it bears NO resemblance to lawful, sure, but it is "correct" and thus it becomes "lawful". So, Putin and other damned heretics for whom "lawful" means nothing else but "lawful" must bear the "correct" punishment, "correct" in every conceivable connotation of the word.

Rurik aka Sasha

So a bunch of Russians shoot a Russian in Russia and it is Obama's fault
Step up and be a man and admit maybe just some of Russia's problems might be the result of the nationalistic attitude of Russians and not a grand plot to destroy a Country that nobody cares about.

Rurik and Yane, you're the only two posters who have written sense on here. Western law is lawful as it decides that it is from its own constructed reality. The truth isn't necessarily so black or white. Western law is constructed in a way that it is democratically right, that it is an answer that appeases or satisfies a craving. If you want to understand reality, you first need to know that it is a constructed image that may have been stretched or be using untruths as facts. The absolute truth may only be known by a few, maybe the person wrongfully convicted, the one wrongly assumed to have intentions or to not have had the intentions that they have been accused of.... If you think that the reality we face is always the truth you need to become wiser

Putin didn't kill this man. If the liberal press will keep declaring that Putin is guilty while the Tatar extremists will get away with this. Muslims in the Ukraine are so upset with Russia's hard line stance against the radical muslims. Putin was a set up.

I am glad you brought this up first. I think you are part of the press, "lets blame putin first and paint him bad and then everyone will believe it". Putin nor Russian leaders have a history of killing people in this manor. So, I do think it was the Tatars who hate Putin because of his stance on Islam and their extreme ways.

Perhaps you are correct Stylus. There is only one agancy competent enough to carry out the investigation. Putin should call in the help of the FBI.

Hi, Vik! Even my sworn "friends" here haven't informed on me to St.Novinquisition. Well, thirty pieces of silver are Yours. I'll hardly effect the third reincarnation ;-).......Now "Step up, be a man and admit" the obvious: I told no one word about "Obama's fault" in the Nemtsov's death. Contrary to Obama, Cameron&Co who point their fingers at Putin at every opportunity(remember MH17'crash when they immediately accused him without any proof and prior to any investigation?), yeah, contrary to them I'm convinced that not accusation but investigation goes first. I'm against a "correct justice", I'm for the really lawful one, Vik.
