Commenting article: US Said to Have Launched Land Operation in Libya as NATO Takes Over

US forces are rumored to be already present on the ground in Libya, despite official sources saying the States have no intention to carry out a land operation.

This information was released by American channel Fox News, refering to reserve colonel David Hand, according to whom the Pentagon is not carrying out massive air strikes against Libya since there are US forces already present on the ground.

American soldiers have been in Libya for 12 days, according to Hant, whose statements were confermed by US intelligence colonel Tony Scheffer.

The operative word here is "rumored" as in not factual. It is not going to happen. The American people will skin Obi alive then tar and feather him if he doesn't stop all the warmongering ASAP.

president of US can call war without permission of congress or house, and the american people definitely do not have a say in american foreign policy. you have an interesting interpretation of the US executive branch and how it represents the american people. http://71-32-92-211.tukw.qwest.net/727b.htm

The American people definitely have a say in American foreign policy. If we don't like what the bums are doing, we vote them out of office. Watch what happens to Obummer in 2012.

Nellie, you are nuts!
Who do you think will run against him and then WIN?
The GOP had better get moving and make it fast.
The Iowa caucus' start soon and all the Republicans can come up with are moral issues. They just do not get it.
The tea party? Nothing like the Libertarians.
All we want is Government to get out of our personal lives.
The day the tea Party comes out for abortion, same sex marriage, gambling and prostitution, I will be impressed and very surprised.

You are underestimating the disgust of the American people with Obummer. Most people would vote for anything that is not Obummer. It doesn't matter who it is, as long as it is NOT Obummer.

Nellie,

I wish there was some way to make a bet with you.
Obama has a base of votes and needs the middle of the road voters.
If the GOP runs Palin, Gingrich or Huckebee they are screwed and that block of voters will all vote Obama.

The GOP needs a warrior with a new face and no baggage. Then Obama is out. Pawlenty or the Mormon? Not gonna happen

You have just eliminated all the GOP possible candidates. Tim Pawlenty, Mit Romney, Sarah Palin, Newt Gingrich, Huckabee...Who else is there? Donald Trump? Michelle Bachmann? I like her. That old fat cracker Hayley Barbour? Mitch Daniels? I don't love any of them, but I will vote for any one of them over Obama.

My dream team would be Chris Christie of New Jersey and Scott Walker of Wisconsin. Just because they are superb at union busting.
