Commenting article: CNN-Aired TV Report on Bulgaria's Gas Crisis Exposed as Misleading

The CNN-aired TV report on the condition of households in the Bulgaria's city of Pleven during the recent natural gas shortage crisis has been exposed by a reporter of the bTV channel as being fake and misleading.

The report in question was prepared by the independent UK TV station ITN, and later aired on CNN. It was supposed to show the living conditions of Bulgarian households during the recent gas crisis caused by the cutoff of Russian natural gas supplies.

Of course they were!
All American reporters were getting hard nipples at the prospect of Bulgaria/Russia political boxing match.
CNN sucks.

So......Let me get this straight. If these people had lost their heat due to the Russian gas crisis it would be a bad thing. But since these people never had any gas heat to begin with, then it is all good. No worries.

Good job finding and publishing the REAL story - the fact that there are people in Bulgaria who have no heat at all, except from burning wood and coal. Sure, that makes Bulgaria a better place. CNN doesn't know what they are doing. lol

KOLEGA,
Hey bonehead, can you not read and comprehend that which is written ???

The reporter is from the UK, ITN network, the footage was given to CNN intl for re-broadcast.

Explain what the UK ITN and CNN Intl (based in the UK) have to do with US reporters and or US networks.

You are and still remain a complete and utter A$$. Cynical to the core with no hope of redemption.

Will someone please tell me:

What is the "typical Bulgarian Household" that should be shown?

Bulerican:

Rather neatly put, I must say. Kolegialen spends a lot of time on this forum bitching about the US he lives off of, and talking about "we" and "our" as though he were in Bulgaria.

The facade is crumbling.

It's hard enough to hit the nail on the head. With a pinhed it's much more difficult.

Mr. Kolegialen,
You are a perpetual 'moning meenie'.
Now, it is the CNN that sucks.
Previously it was the British 'chavs', then it was the Chech 'pr**ks.
I am waiting man, for your next ...............

It is true that CNN is psitioned in LONDON,UK but it's journalists are predominately

AMERICAN!

My favorite e.g. RICHARD QUEST is from Illinois...a small town,I forgot the name.

Last year he was reporting about his town and family.

As I lived in USA I can imediatelly recognise the American accent and tell if the

reporter is a British or other nationality.

There is a blond girl,SASCHA HERMAN...the first time she opened her mouth,I knew ,she is a GERMAN...

the German accent is very distinctive and I know how Germans are speaking

American language.

Anyway, the reporters at CNN are shouting the text ,which their EDITOR

TIME WARNER Inc. prescribed them.

WESSEN BROT ICH ESSE ,DESSEN LIED ICH SINGE!
