Will the wave of flight cancellations due to fogs in Sofia disrupt Bulgaria's skiing season?

Sorry guys, but in my opinion, this is the weirdest poll you have ever hatched!

Hmmmm, you mean we can do something about the fog???? ;-)
Maybe export it somewhere else???
Change it to water and bottle it???

No. Many people who ski in BG arrive by bus, using inexpensive tour packages. Today's fog doesn't play into that kind of decision making. Next year it won't matter anyway, because they'll have the category 3 instrument landing certificate, right?

Absolutely.

Besides if Sofia is socked in, take them to Varna or Burgas, heck even Bucharest is ok, then bus them from there. Vacationers don't care how they get there as long as the deed is done.

Will fog affect the tourist business?

They shouldn't do. This is not the first time that there is fog around Sofia in December. As some of the flights are being diverted to Plovdiv, which is definitely more convenient for Pamporovo, and still quite accessible for Bansko or Borovetz, why not schedule some planes for Plovdiv anyway? Devbelopping Plovdiv airport makes good sense anyway, because the meteorological conditions are better there than almost anywhere else in Bulgaria.

Most of the ski package tour flights go to Plovdiv anyway. But as the ski season hasn't started I really don't see the relevance.
