I've had enough of doctors for a while, but I need to go to my cardiologist tomorrow so he can look at the hospital's final report and I'm sure I will need some prescriptions from him so I can continue on the medication the hospital was using. I'm just happy it wasn't a heart attack. For all practical purposes I'm back to normal in all respects except weak legs. I can get around the apartment and for short distances without any assistance. I need a cane for longer distances and on stairs for keeping my balance. For going shopping, I have--I don't know what it's called in English--but it amounts to a walker on wheels. It has a basket on the front, so I can pack things I want to buy when I go to the market. The new apartment, I'm told, has everything I'll need within 200 meters, so walking shouldn't be a problem. My big problem is going to be getting my car reregistered. It was taken out of registry while I was in the hospital, (To keep it from being taxed for the whole year), and needs to be brought back to legality. I worked like a dog at the hospital to get back to normal, but now my problem is convincing my lawyer that I'm fit to drive. I had a tough time convincing the head doctor at the hospital, but he tested me and said I was OK to drive. One thing was really funny. I asked my doctor, "Why do I have to take so many pills? How sick am I really? I feel fine." I was told later it was a form of blood poisoning. Whatever the cause was, the result was sheer horror until came out of the coma and getting better. First it was the intensive care unit, and then a regular hospital room. This was followed by a transfer to a primary rehabilitation hospital, and then to a secondary one.
