Wartime treatment of Jews by Bulgarians was as it is now. Nothing changed.
Jews in Bulgaria were never segregated from the rest of sociiety - since King Asen's times that is., unless by personal choice. At least I can't google anything that would make me doubt it really was otherwise.
Now it is about time to start a series of trials and procedures about the treatment of Bulgarians and Bulgarian culture in Greece up until the end of 80s and beginning of 90s.

Dear DP, why I am not in the position to make a comment. Why must we have all these conflicts over religion. Lets all be secular and take care of each other. Bringing up all this history in the past just does not take us anywhere. And why you need to bring in the cults, is just ludicrous. People should respect people on a people basis, not the labels we put on them through religion, work, social standing,,etc. :) Give tolerance a try! You will feel better.

One must look very closely at Bulgarian History and the lack of Research, for example, the “Ratnitsi za napreduka na bulgarshtinata”. This was brushed under the carpet in academic circles in Bulgaria.

Let us not forget, Rodna Zashtita the seeds of racist socialism articulated by the late Professor Alexandur Tsankov the intellectual link to Nazism.

We need more information to determine Bulgarian intentions.

You are not in a position to give advice to anyone, so find something less pretentious to say...;-)

Bulgaria Bows to Victims of Communism

Very ungraceful exit, sa-sha. The topic was about victims of communism and you introduced this new element by:
”...if these politicians mention "victims of [Bulgarian]Communist Regime", then why they do not bow to, why they do not mention the victims of [Bulgarian] pro-Fascist Regime, sorry?
As the result of the joint Germany/Italy/Hungary/Bulgaria' attack on the Kingdom of
Yougoslavia (April,1941) 750,000 of Serbs were killed. Bulgarian pro-fascist regime participated in it: FACT.
So, if to bow to Victims of [Bulgarian] Communism, then why not to bow to Victims (much more numerous, btw; sorry once again) of[Bulgarian]Fascism, or, more exact, Victims of Bulgarian Pro-Fascist Regime..."

Firstly, you cited 750,000 of Serbs killed in the attack on the Kingdom of Yugoslavia ignoring the rest of the nationalities comprising the population of Yugoslavia. Then you state as a fact that Bulgarian pro- fashist regime participated in it. This statement begs the question: In what manner? Since Bulgarian troops did not take part in the attack this can’t be so. And this was my argument. In your next post you mentioned the annexation of Macedonia and the Western Pokrainini and supported your argument on the basis of redrawn maps. Maybe you should look up a few other maps which show a totally different picture? I have been careful to stick to recorded facts, but you seem to be determined to turn a blind eye to the real situation by introducing “ghosts” into the conversation. Or maybe you simply do not want to recognise some of the facts because your sympathies lie with the Serbs-- for obvious reasons...
And for the cheap shot: ‘Best wishes to Your "witnesses of those events" what can I say??? Just a sigh...

But back to the victims of the communism in Bulgaria.
Here is a part of a review of the book “My Odyssey” by Stephane Grueff (the author of Crown of Thorns, a biography of Tsar Boris III)

“These bloodthirsty kangaroo courts [People's Tribunal Courts], in the new spirit of brotherhood and communitas, handed down sentences of execution for 2,730 home-grown enemies of the newly improved, more fraternal People's State of Bulgaria. Perhaps in appreciation for Bulgaria's refusal to send troops against any other country in WWII including their own patrons, the Soviet Union, the newly empowered Bulgarian Communists rewarded their Bulgarian brothers by killing an extraordinarily high number of them. In stark contrast, the People's State of Romania executed only four of their own citizens even though Romanian troops fought directly against the Soviet Union. Only 11 of Germany's wartime leaders were sentenced to death at the Nuremberg Trials while Japan sentenced seven. Over the next 45 years tens of thousands of Bulgarians were executed or persecuted in forced labor camps as the Soviets securely handcuffed geo-strategically important Bulgaria..”

No problem, Ukraine-which have already started its usual winter business, aka
"to steal as much of Russian gas as possible"-will defeat Iran for sure: Mamo
Ukraina will steal more, than Iran can supply...And then Mamo will accuse Russia,
sure, and the West will believe Mamo, as usual, and those Russians will be again
guilty.....Eh, Mamo Ukraina.

Monica Lewinsky or Hilary Clinton?
