He noted that the caretaker PM must not come from politics or the business sector so that there cannot be any criticism about their past, but must be responsible and trustworthy.***************He he, good luck with that Mr. President !

Everything about BB and his government screams hypocrisy. He seems to think that he is squeaky clean and he also has a short memory. There is enough mud from his shady past to keep elephants happy. BB needed to go. It is shameful that Bulgaria elected him to power, but perhaps the majority of people had no idea of his colourful history as media is suppressed to tell the truth. Thank goodness for Wikileaks and praise for Bivol for being so brave as to go where no others dare to. Also I suspect that clever and sly BB is playing the sympathy card with his hypertension, how convenient for him. If I were him, I'd be sweating too! Just saying.

To all Bulgarian people...........Say NO to nuclear power!!!! Just cut your losses on the abandoned Belene project and pray that nothing goes wrong with the Kozloduy NPP. Please think of the safety of your people and of your country.

I agree with the above comment. In my opinion all Nuclear power plants are totally dangerous and an accident/disaster waiting to happen. They could never ever be deemed and certified "safe" no matter how many "checks" are conducted.

"Klaus Shramayer also criticized the European Union for not forcing Bulgaria to grapple with the legacy of the past and open fully the files of the Secret Service, which in his words, would have disabled the hubs of the former communist regime".

I totally agree with this statement. When the wall of the former communist regime fell, everything of the past was swept under the rug like it never happened, and the same old communist hierarchy became Bulgaria's new instant capitalists and the new wealthy elite. Wealth by stealth, whilst there was no bread in the empty shops for the common man, but plenty of instant millionaires.

@Mitko Pitko:
1. I did not crawl out from under a stone.
2. I do not live in a hut.
3. I am not envious of anyone.
4. I do not spit hate.

I am just speaking my personal opinion. It won't be too long before all of Bulgaria will be speaking Russian anyway, judging by the amount of private gated and guarded Russian communities that are allowed to thrive on the Black Sea coast in their luxury prisons, whilst many Bulgarians are living in huts at the same time. Only some people have prospered in Bulgaria, others have fled by the million, and the real generational gap of the true Bulgarians who are still alive live in abject poverty. Just look at all the derelict abandoned houses from one end of Bulgaria to the other and the ugliness of the grey concrete Soviet housing blocks from one end of Bulgaria to the other, and realise that only a small minority of Bulgarians have prospered for all the wrong reasons. I find it sad and very emotional to think about the true reality of beautiful Bulgaria.
