The visas for Russians has only gone up approx 2.80 euros for the regular one and 5.40 euros for a fast track one. That's not much at all; and if they cannot afford a visa to anywhere, then obviously they can't afford a holiday. They can go to Sochi visa free.

"Should the proposal that was submitted by the European Commission, the European Central Bank, and the International Monetary Fund at the Eurogroup of 25 June 2015, which consists of two parts that together constitute their comprehensive proposal, be accepted? The first document is titled 'Reforms for the completion of the Current Programme and beyond' and the second 'Preliminary Debt Sustainability Analysis'.".................

That's the question!? Lol, good luck with that Greece. As I said previously - what a fiasco.

George, you are free to go and live in those wonderful emerging markets' countries; China, Indonesia, Turkey, Iran, Mexico and whatever the "etc" ones are. Of course they have wonderful democratic rights and freedom of speech, and no poverty there at all, so all will be well for you and you'll be living in a state of bliss.

VG, what do you mean "when"? They have already defaulted technically, if not officially.

This Greek situation, is and has become a farce. A modern day "Greek Tragedy".

They've had years to sort themselves out but haven't. Tsipras can go stick it up his tsipro, he has the audacity to whinge about deadlines and blackmail, after faffing about since becoming PM and then urging the Greek citizens to vote in a certain way. Isn't that another form of blackmail?

They cooked the books to unlawfully join the EU and EZ, which the EU fell for due to lack of diligence.

Why they have ignored the deadlines and negotiations in a timely manner, and decided to call a snap referendum at such a late date, is ridiculous and questionable.

Interesting to see how the polls stack up before and after the banks closed, people are easily swayed by money or lack of it; and I feel that the referendum will be a waste of time and will not comprehensively decide which way to go, but is going to fester new problems internally. Also, I think that most Greeks are or will be so confused by the whole referendum fiasco, that it may be pointless to vote for anything or anyone. We don't even know what the referendum question is, at this stage.

How things change in a week. The Yanks are worse than tsigani and cannot be trusted on any account. And I'd like to know how and why President Plevneliev allowed this to happen so easily. Was he compliant with the Yanks or was he snowballed? These conflicting statements by the Bulgarian President and the Bg Defense Minister, and what the Yanks are saying do not add up. So whose lying?

Good riddance to another dodgy and grubby Mayor and his equally offensive offspring.
