Ivan Stoyanov is finds himself very happy to be on UK soil.
Every one around loves this young man, his cheerful disposition and friendly manner, as he discovers amenities previously unknown to him:

I said:
"Not until the mid - 90's there was a serious attempt to restitute property and not really industrial facilities, most of which were not existing in 1947 any way.
Who owned Stomana or Kremikovci? (extreme examples) in 1947?."
(answer: no one, because - look above - they didn't exist)

You said:
"Kolegialen, Stomana, Kremikobtsi, the chemical plant in Dimitrovgrad, the metalurgical plants in Pernik did not exist in 1948."

The same thing.

DP my point is not about what was and what wasn't nationalized, but about the fact that in 1989 we found ourselves in a land without clear property rights for and ownership the industrial means. No laws either.

Free for all. If UK or US went through the same, my guess is that they will be even more corrupt, being the greedy and nasty people that they are...

"I keep telling everyone here that l.a is way more dangerous then Sofia...and they all laugh at me!"

Of course they laugh.
This is part of our own Bulgarian narcissism - we desperately want to believe that we are the worse country in the world.
We even keep telling foreigners around us, until they actually start believing it themselves. Take AmMan complaining about the price of bread, to lol...
Taro is a different case - he is yellow, therefore complex ridden, so he needs to feel better vs someone - his Bulgarian whore provides for these psychological needs, along with the sex, I imagine...

Take that loser posing by the potatoes!
I am surprised that the BBC didn't take a photo of him sitting on a normal toilet seat, just to illustrate the improvement in his life in the UK....

"The nationalisation was carried out without destroying the ownership laws."

That's a contradiction.
Ownership laws were destroyed by making it illegal to own means of production. They didn't just declare the owners enemies, they made it impossible for any one to acquire property in the future too.
I am not talking about personal dwellings, although there was a limit on that too. I believe that 120 sqm living space was the top limit for one family right?

"..you're welcome to leave the US any time you want, preferably sooner.."

Amen brother!
Dude, you are thick with God - put in a good word for this Bulgarian, would ya?:
1/2 million in non-taxable income (deposited in my Bulgarian registered company) - location unimportant - China, India, South America.

Billy, my only problem with Americans in BG is the view.
Not so much that they ruin it, which they do, but they actually block it!

Billy - just imagine us skinny Bulgarians trying to catch a glimpse of our own babes on the beach, between various forms and shapes of pure fat!
Not to mention the very real danger here of one of those seals actually stepping on you, as you fall a sleep on the sand....
