I am just coming back from the Medieval Festival. It was cool at the Medieval Festival, there was also a separate section showing dinosaurs - if you have time to fill, you can jump, but maybe the events of the Medieval Festival are mainly for young children, the other things to see somehow pale to me or just for older children perhaps.
The tickets for the middle aged were 5 leva and for children free of charge. For the mini park filled with dinosaurs - 12 leva, and there is discount of 2 leva per ticket for children, for all who have also visited the Medieval Festival. I was impressed by the battle, I liked the lecture on medieval fencing, there were interesting things to look at - crafts, food, games and what not.
The Medieval Festival continues tomorrow in the Park of the Military Academy. Bring water, I did not see selling around. After you buy tickets for the Medieval Festival, they put a stamp on your hand hand. So you can safely leave the park and then go back to the event.
The idea of organizing such a festival in the park of the Military Academy is very nice, and the place is extremely suitable. I liked everything from the experiences such as shooting an arrow or stuff about medieval manuscripts seen and acquired new knowledge.
I am glad that there are such intelligent people who, with such enthusiasm, relayed their knowledge and skills to others. There is no better storybook of such an event that you can touch the past and learn interesting details from people who have given their hearts to a topic. I will be glad this festival to become a tradition and we meet these unique personalities to learn more new things in a fun and intelligent way.
