2004-10-25 00:00:00
Short text messaging service has been introduced after each card payment, Bulgaria's banking card operator Borika announced. The new service will alert costumers after card payments to protect better the transactions, say the developers Datamax, who also maintain an electronic payment system. The system is hoped to prevent possible card forgeries, a risk that is most likely with restaurant payments. Now the customers have the opportunity to receive an SMS after the transaction even before they walk out of a restaurant, be it in Bulgaria or abroad, the system's creators say. The service comes at a price of BGN 0,20.
