Germany, Bulgaria Join Efforts in Crime Fight

Germany's Interior Minister Otto Schily arrived in Bulgaria on a two-day visit on the special invitation of his Bulgarian counterpart Georgi Petkanov. During Schily's visit to Bulgaria an agreement for cooperation in the field of organized crime was signed.

The two ministers also participated in a special ceremony for the donation of 25 vehicles to Bulgaria's Border Police services at Sofia's Sveti Alexander Nevski Square.

On Tuesday Germany's Interior Minister Otto Schily is scheduled to meet Bulgaria's Parlimentary Speaker Ognyan Gerdzhikov.
