2003-07-24 00:00:00
The governments of Bulgaria and Denmark signed Thursday a friendship memorandum under the Kyoto Protocol of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change.

Both countries ratified the Kyoto Protocol in 2002 and got the opportunity for "joint implementation."

The memorandum lets the two countries join efforts to limit environmental damages. This move will extend even further the mutual aid in protecting the environment, Bulgaria's Environment Minister Dolores Arsenova said Thursday after signing the memorandum.
