US President Barack Obama has agreed that promising evidence has been gathered regarding the July 18 terror attack in the Bulgarian city of Burgas, according to Bulgarian PM Boyko Borisov.
Even though many agencies are investigating the terror attack, not enough evidence has been obtained so far for a perpetrator to be named, Borisov reiterated Tuesday in an interview for TV7, as cited by Blitz.
However, the Bulgarian PM pointed out that authorities have established the real names of owners of fake driver's licenses allegedly involved in the attack.
He also stated that the identity of the suicide bomber will be most certainly discovered, since a DNA profile and fingerprints have been obtained. The suicide bomber's head has also been preserved.
The bus explosion at the Burgas airport killed seven, including five Israeli tourists, the suicide bomber, and the Bulgarian driver of the bus.
On Monday, Borisov informed Obama about the progress of the investigation of the July 18 terrorist attack.
