A military parade marking the 71st anniversary of the Soviet victory over Nazi Germany in World War II took place in Moscow on May 9.

About 10,000 military personnel marched in the Red Square.

Columns of tanks and armoured vehicles followed the troops. The parade also included air defence missiles as well as RS-24 Yars mobile intercontinental ballistic missile.
