The founder of Bulgarian whistleblowing website Bivol.bg have addressed a petition to the European Parliament to draw its attention to Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borisov's alleged murky past.
Bivol recently released a document revealing that Borisov was recruited in the past as a secret agent of the Central Services for Combatting Organized Crime, CSBOP.
Borisov was allegedly recruited as informant over his close ties with the mafia. A 1997 file, which refers to Borisov under the codename "Buddha," notes his "criminal orientation" and suggests "clarifying connections of the subject with people and businesses linked to criminal activities."...
This is a sick joke.
A similar petition could be written for lots, if not all, of the high ranking senior politicians within the EU.
If you've got a problem with Uncle B, then just vote on another politician at the forthcoming elections. That's the strength of democracy. You can show non grata politicians the door.
And yes, there might be politicians white as snow in Bulgaria. But according to my knowledge, eventual snow will be in and under their noses. So, it will be one step forward and two steps back. And, if the commies come to the table again, it will be the end of Bulgaria as a free nation.
