Hundreds of angry Bulgarians staged an anti-British rally today claiming it was 'arrogant' to assume hoards of eastern Europeans would flock to the UK for free handouts as soon as restrictions are relaxed....
Please direct your protests and understandable anger, towards the politicians and media, not towards British people in general. A lot of British people are actually supportive of your outrage and by targeting all British people, you are not fostering that support.
Siderov is right, UK has always been our enemy. The tried to cover up the massacres that the Ottomans did in Bulgaria. Failing to world opinion, they pretended to change stance but at the end of the Russo-Turkish war when Bulgaria was to be liberated they showed up threatening to fight WITH the Ottomans against our freedom. They are also behind the treaty of Berlin that carved up San Stefano Bulgaria.
They supported our neighbors during 20th century to annex our lands and looked the other way when Bulgarians were forcibly assimilated by neighbors.
The Brits have NEVER been our friends, because they see us as an extension of Russia, they consider Slavs, especially Orthodox, to be their arch-enemy.
They don't even respect the Polish people, they had the same kind of hate campaign against Polish immigrants a few years ago. It took them years to admit that it was Polish Pilots were responsible for the Luftwaffe loosing to the UK. Also that the enigma code was broken thanks to the Polish. British are never grateful, always hateful towards Slavs. We should deport them all! Except for the Scotts, they can stay, for the rest show them the door.
This comment has been sent to several English newspapers as well as a translated version which I have sent to the Bulgarian Prime Minister.
I am an English woman who has been happily living in Bulgaria for 8 years. I would like to state that I do not agree with the detrimental comments being reported in the British Newspapers. I am appalled by the ignorant remarks, and comments made against the Bulgarian people. They are kind, helpful, and caring, and their only wish is for a better life, and they are prepared to do any job available to achieve their goal. Unfortunately this is not the case with many English people who are perfectly capable of working but who choose to sit at home watching the television all day, while thinking that it is their given right to take money from the Government !!!. To assume that the Bulgarians are the same people as the Roma, or Romanians is incorrect as they are a completely separate nationality, and I suggest that English people come to Bulgaria for a visit, and see for themselves before making their uninformed comments.
