Russia has expressed its concern over reports of Israeli air strikes on Syrian territory.
Syria's army said Israeli jets had targeted a military research centre north-west of Damascus on Wednesday.
"If this information is confirmed, then we are dealing with unprovoked attacks on targets on the territory of a sovereign country, which blatantly violates the UN Charter and is unacceptable, no matter the motives to justify it," Russia's Foreign Ministry has said in a statement....
If Russia had supported the rest of the world in condemning Assad regime it would have collapsed months ago and this outcome would never have happened. Russia now has to recognise it is to blame for this new event, and take the consequences.
Russia does not support terrorists.
Russia does not like countries which are instable and where people kill each other all the time.
Like in Egypt, Afghanistan, Iraq, Libia, ...
Majority of Syrians are behind Assad, and they are not happy that their tolerant country has changed into a intolerant country where muslim terrorists kill anything they do not like.
Peter, if Your "If Russia had supported the rest of the world in condemning Assad regime" would be from USA or, sorry, UK officials,
then I can at least get it-what else to wait from this public, but You.....
why not to to TRY to suggest that there are other opinions, i.e.
opinions of that very " the rest of the world ":
and -being implemented via UN relevant decisions- those "other opinions" could stop the bloody idiocy in Syria. The REAL PROBLEM, Peter, is that USA&Co-and their own GOALS- have NOTHING in common with REAL Democracy, with terminating sufferings of Syrian People(what on earth that damned Syria and its damned people when "Global Triumph of the "real democracy" is on the horisont!?)
"To take the consequences", Peter!?, You are really PERFECT...........
