For almost twelve centuries this south-slavic nation was akin to Bulgarian nation in culture , using a Bulgarian idiom as language. at the end of 19th century some Bulgarian conscience intellectuals in otoman Macedonia province used for the first time the regional macedonian identity as national identity!!! .This was a trick of Bulgarian Kingdom in order to build a second Bulgarian-origin state in Balkans with exodus to Aegean, after the oncoming dissolution of otoman empire but the Balkans wars in 1912-13 made a dramatic change in this idea , In the year 1945 "TITO re-invented the "macedonian" nation . He took the old "bulgarian idea" of k Misirkov -Pulevski and IMRO organization ..to create a new state,a new nation and a new alphabet (de-bulgarization).......under yugoslavic federation , Today the paradox The ex-bulgarians of 19th century trasformed into ancient "macedonians" and Gotse Delchev from ,man with regional slav-macedonian identity with bulgarian nationality became a man ,same ethnicity with Aristotle and Alexander the great !!!! So the question is not if those slavs in vardarska valley have the right to be called macedonians or not but if the civilized world will let those nationalists in vardarska-FYROM to falsify the ancient and medieval history of the balkans ,or not !!!!

i've never known anyone to "demand" friendship. surely it's something earned and given out of respect, and not something you are able to demand?

the respect is obvious when you are trying to present slavic medieval manuscripts aka (bulgarian and Serbian) as "macedonian" when such language never existed in that era
