Deyan Daneshki, Executive Director of state-owned postal carrier Bulgarian Posts EAD, has said that the company expects a loss in its 2012 financial report.
In a Wednesday interview for the Focus news agency, Daneshki noted that the company was striving to reduce the negative financial result as much as possible.

Something has to be done about the postal services in Bulgaria and if the job can only be handled reliably by a private company so be it. As a test, I have posted a number of items from the town post office to my home address and to a PO box in the same post office I posted them and out of the 10 items I posted, only one arrived. Most cards I try to send abroad do not arrive either
