The problem is not just with Eastern European students. There are no jobs for British citizens when they leave university and they are forced to move abroad or live off benefits while people from other countries take their jobs and university places (since students from other countries are taken on at most British universities in preference to Britons too. I understand that non UK EU students get grants to study at British universities, whereas UK students seem to get nothing - another possible reason why the British are getting angry
If they need to, or can, work more than 20 hours a week they are not really students are they? Bulgarians expect to come to the UK and get social security in 2014 but when Brits come here to live we have to sign a document to say we will not claim Bulgarian social security. STOP bitching and do some real work for a change...
