Danube Bridge 2 between Bulgaria and Romania: The Bridge of Shame!
Congratulations! Your article will be quoted 2000 years from now when the fourth bridge will be built. You have achieved immortality. Even trees do not last 2000 years.

Danube Bridge 2 between Bulgaria and Romania: The Bridge of Shame!
This Bogdan is probably a Romanian mocking the author Ivan Dikov. Bogdan is also a Ro name, not only Bulg. Hey Ivan Dikov stop writing peacemaking things about Romania! For your information the so-called coordination of foreign politics between Romania, Bg and Greece is a joke! Can't you see that Romania didn't veto FYROM, like Bg and Greece did? Weren't all 3 countries suppose to speak with one voice on matters of foreign politics dealing with the EU? Actually Romania is FYROM's ally since both want a piece of Bulgaria. Fortunately they are too stupid to work in a coordinated manner.

Ivan Dikov, if you are so friendly towards Romanians why don't you change your name to Ion Diculescu as Diculescu is a Romanian name, probably coming from Dikov? AFAIK Romania for a long time was againgst the building of a bridge between Calafat and Vidin since not much Romanian traffic goes there. They wanted Calarasi-Silistra or other location if I'm not mistaken, given that Silistra is in Southern Dobruja, a region Romanians want to get their hands on again!

Yes, you are right. I am 100% Romanian. My comment is not meant to mock the author or the article but the absurd and embarrassing situation described in the article.
There were no bridges across Danube for so many centuries because Danube was a useful natural border. Besides the Romans only the Ottomans had an interest in building a bridge but they probably lacked the expertise.
Romanians do not want the Cadrilater (Southern Dobrujea) back. Cadrilater is not considered a traditional Romanian territory. It was a booty of war. Romanians didn’t even want Dobrujea in exchange of Budjak (Southern Bessarabia) after the 1877 war. That exchange was imposed on them.
It is a pity that considering how many things Bulgarians and Romanians have in common there is so little cooperation and mutual understanding between them.
