Commenting article: Stanishev: 23 Y after, Authoritarianism Is Back in Bulgaria

Authoritarian rule is on its way to entrench itself in Bulgaria 23 years after the transition to democracy that started Novemer 10, 1989, said PES and Bulgarian Socialist Party leader Sergey Stanishev.

Stanishev is absolutely right - it would be a disaster for the country if the leader of the Bulgarian Socialist Party, the leader of the Party of European Socialists also became Bulgarian Prime Minister as well.

If Mr. Stanishev had cleaned the house during his term, the BG people would never have voted for BB. BB came to power because the Bulgarian people had enough of Stanishev's and Parvanov's corruption through clientalism!

The socialists rhetoric is nonsense and as absurd as the tea party rednecks, they are unfit for the political stage, they should quit their jobs and start printing tabloids, why not go the whole way!?

the voters are always smart. Americans realized that the Republican candidate was from the Mormon cult, and even though the media don't report it, we all know that people won't vote for cultists. Same for Stanishev, everyone knows he is a communist at heart, and the voters will not bring him back anytime soon. Voters are smart, and not so swayed as the media sometimes thinks.
