I've been to Romania and Bulgaria and seen the abject poverty and rampant corruption in both places. Thuggish looking gangsters live like kings, driving Ferraris and Bentleys while the general populace are paupers.

OBVIOUSLY the poor people will flood into Western Europe in their millions, bringing guns and drugs with them across the uncontrolled borders.

I always said it was stupid to even consider allowing these 2 countries into the EU. Who listened?!

1, Majority of Eastern European people that have had the initiative to travel to another country for work are of great benefit, work very well and pay their way, majority sending money back home to support families in home countries.
2, I am actually working in the UK with 3 Slovaks, I prefer this because they work hard, serious for their work, produce quality workmanship, reliable. Many businesses in the UK prefer East European labour and one grower I know only employs Bulgarians!
3, Yes the majority of Bulgarian families dont have much income, but they are multi millionairs in the quality of life they have. good social structure, strong communities, no mortgages and little credit, superior survival skills. Maybe have nothing but will always give you anything, inviting you into their home with open arms.
4, just look at the daily news in the UK! shootings, stabbings. as a daily occourance in every city...
