In 2014 there will be an unprecedented crime wave in Britain if we do not stop Romanian and Bulgarian citizens having open door access to British borders, claims UKIP MEP...
Very accurate assessment Godfrey.
I've been to Romania and Bulgaria and seen the abject poverty and rampant corruption in both places. Thuggish looking gangsters live like kings, driving Ferraris and Bentleys while the general populace are paupers.
OBVIOUSLY the poor people will flood into Western Europe in their millions, bringing guns and drugs with them across the uncontrolled borders.
I always said it was stupid to even consider allowing these 2 countries into the EU. Who listened?!
What sick! Ill informed ignorant comments!
1, Majority of Eastern European people that have had the initiative to travel to another country for work are of great benefit, work very well and pay their way, majority sending money back home to support families in home countries.
2, I am actually working in the UK with 3 Slovaks, I prefer this because they work hard, serious for their work, produce quality workmanship, reliable. Many businesses in the UK prefer East European labour and one grower I know only employs Bulgarians!
3, Yes the majority of Bulgarian families dont have much income, but they are multi millionairs in the quality of life they have. good social structure, strong communities, no mortgages and little credit, superior survival skills. Maybe have nothing but will always give you anything, inviting you into their home with open arms.
4, just look at the daily news in the UK! shootings, stabbings. as a daily occourance in every city...
Wake up! Bulgaria is the place to be!
"In 2014 there will be an unprecedented crime wave in Britain if we do not stop Romanian and Bulgarian citizens having open door access to British borders", "90 per cent of cash point fraud is perpetrated by Romanian gangs", " Bulgarian administration is corrupt to the core...If the rot is at the top, that filters down through society and we do not want that here"+"Very accurate assessment Godfrey"=godly Godfrey+ steve44 =Sweet Pair(SP). Look, SP, what if to stop whining, to stop winding the snot on the
hand? You don't want Bulgarians/Romaniansin UK, in EU? Do lock the border for them, do expulse them from EU or leave EU Yourself. What's the problem? Or You think that UK officials
aren't in a current? They are, sure, as well as they are aware about the shameful-for any noble nation-fact: at least 25% of Russians who arrived to/live now in UK earned their millions by a criminal way. Still...the wise silence of both officials and people. Non olet. Or, by other words: "If the rot is at the top, that filters down through society". Congrats, SP!
Heathrow Airport looks like Mumbay Airport. Entire regions in London looks like you're in China or India and now you are getting affraid of other emigrants? Why UK gvmnt is not closing the borders and instates visas fo every non-UK visitor? Why blame the emigrants when the actual issue is the UK gvmnt, your people?
If I keep my house doors wide open 24/7 I will expect friends and also thieves to visit me...this is the reality, but I do not blame them!?
UK's gvnmt incapacity to keep "bad visitors" in leesh creates a lot of Rasist reactions between people, when the actual cause is not the right one. Soon we'll see a Holocaust for Eastern Europeans and probably lots of UKs "highly civilized" people will agree with it. Is that civilization?
Good points by Sasha, the rich everywhere are exempt from contempt and discrimination even if they have criminal links.
I do, however, find ordinary Bulgarian's attitude a bit hypocritical too. They complain about the UK's populist rants against them and the way the are portrayed in British media as thieves and a threat to society yet the media and popular opinion in Bulgaria is currently portraying the Syrian refugees in the exact same position.
These are testing times for Bulgaria and if Bulgarians have felt discriminated or treated as 2nd class citizens by Western Europeans in the past they should remember that and offer the Syrian refugees a helping hand in their time of need.
