Bulgaria's opposition GERB party has got into the habit of calling votes of no-confidence against the Socialist-led government every other day. The move funnily turned nationalist MPs into avid travelers and their leader Volen Siderov – into a true Gulliver.
Right after the news breaks that a new motion is in the offing, the nationalists hit the road. The world is big and salvation lurks around the corner. It feels good to find a shoulder to cry on – in Brussels or in Hanoi.
On Tuesday it emerged that two days later, when Prime Minister Plamen Oresharski's government will face a second no-confidence vote, Siderov and his MPs will be in Vienna. The cabinet survived its first no-confidence vote on October 2, when all nationalist MPs were on a visit to Brussels. It is still not clear whom they conferred with there, but we know that they had a scuffle with the waiters at a local restaurant and tried to leave without paying.
The nationalists are a shame for Bulgaria, but nobody can hold them responsible. They are kingmakers and hold the fate of the government in their hands.
GERB is to table new motions. That means Bulgarians are in for more blushing.
And while all this theater fiasco is taking place, the commy crooks together with their "buddies by blood" the turks are ripping off the last coin of the already overly impoverished bulgarians. So while the chain of no confidence votes by GERB may seem "funny" to some, it is de facto the only real opposition in the parliament that puts at least partial breaks or disturbances into the robbery wheel of the oligarchs, which seems in the mean time to have gained full force and momentum. So shush you all and pray for more no confidence votes, for those have also awakening and mobilizing effect in the masses.
So are GERB MPs going to vote this time?
What a joke, the first time not voting on their own motion, the second time getting beaten, this time wil they vote?
And resigning in February because of a few protests which is cowardice, failing to form a government after the May elections is incompetence and boycotting parliament is being lazy.
GERB MPs resign and let people be elected who will participate in government.
