Commenting article: Intellectuals Scorn UK Media for Anti-Bulgarian Campaign
An open letter signed by a group of British and Bulgarian intellectuals has been published by the British Telegraph in which the authors state they feel offended by the negative image of Bulgaria in recent publications.
The negative campaign against Bulgarians and Romanians is persisting in Old Albion over fears of huge influx of them after the opening the labor market at the beginning of 2014.
Below is the full text of the letter:
Could not have written this any better.
Has Farage been to see Sofia's Rome? Missed that.
Why are we westerners coming to BG if it is so bad and the UK so perfect?
The folk are generally welcoming, pensions go further, the weather is better, the state does not interefere with individuals lives and allow us freedom as sensible folk.
We are not treated with contempt as mindless morons with everything aimed at the lowest common denominator.
Youth still has respect for elders and does not binge drink, vomit on pavements and behave as if they are the most important person in the world. Cor blimey the list is almost infinite.
Long live BULGARIA. Bravo BG!
Rhodesian, that's a refreshing point of view unlike some of your countrymen.
It looks like not everything is perfect there, but where is it, and things seem to be getting better.
What is that you most miss from your homeland?
I believe the uk does not want the same beggars and criminals that Bulgaria does not want and would be very glad to get rid of to countries like the UK
Unfortunately, whilst the UK remains populated with rabid, Sun reading, uneducated right wing bigots enjoying a life on benefits like Seedy, this problem will remain.

As soon as my new seedlings start producing REAL organic chushki it'll be off to Belene for you, my genetically-modified peppery friend....
This is just the type of Nazi ideological language we expect from Seedy, an advocate of the 'final solution' for anyone who doesnt fit his warped image of beer bellied, drunken, Brit xenophobes like him & his UKIP pals.
