Sofia Mayor Fandakova and the chairman of the Party of European Socialists Sergey Stanishev have been elected by you, the readers of Novinite.com (Sofia News Agency) and Novinite.bg, as Bulgaria's "Personality in the News" 2012 in Politics!
The readers of Novinite.com (Sofia News Agency) and Novinite.bg had the chance to selected from among fifteen nominees in an independent online vote in three categories – Politics, Business, and Diplomacy ("Ambassador of the Year") in the last weeks of December 2012 and the first weeks of January 2013.
The Personality in the News poll was held for a 12th year in a row, since the founding of Novinite.com (Sofia News Agency), now Bulgaria's largest English-language media, back in 2001. More than 5 300 readers from around the world participated in the 2012 vote....

Hahahahhaa,,,how many people voted in this "POLL"? Probably only one, Stanishev himself :))) I really don't think these polls have any validity, Stanishev is a relic of the past. Who in their right mind would vote for him? Communism is over, let's move on with serious politics and serious people.
