The Bulgarian national flag is now waving at the South Pole for the first time ever, the Bulgarian Antarctic Institute has announced.
The flag was put there by researcher Hristo Pimpirev, who is is part of an Antarctic expedition set for the pole to honor the centennery its first conquest by Roald Amundsen and Robert Scott.
Day temperatures in the area, which is currently under the polar summer season, is around -32 degrees Centigrade....
Maybe somebody may explain to me how the caverns of the South Pole Ice affects the Bulgarian Climate Changes.
Next I need an explanation of the effects of the Southern Hemisphere wind currents and its effect to the Balkan beach weather.
Imagine a Penguin in Sofia or a whale swimming in the Balkans with its offsprings, what a beautiful site.
Imagine a Bulgarian South Pole "Big Foot" creature walking down the street in Sofia.
We need more information concerning the Bulgarian Expedition at the South Pole.
