Lonely Planet: Bulgaria among World's Best-Value Destinations
What is there of any value in Bulgaria. I ended up at some trance party paying double the price for a beer than in say Czech republic or Croatia. The beer was crap btw.

Notice they didn't say anything was good about Bulgaria, they said "best value". This means cheap. However, it is not true. You don't get value for your money in Bulgaria. Top destinations are Iceland, London, and Las Vegas. That's because of currency fluctuation. The US is a very popular destination for Europeans these days, half of the tourists walking around 5th Ave. in New York are speaking German.

Read my post Figment. I said I was paying fat price for an average local beer (Kamenica I think). For that same amount you'd get a Krushovice in Croatia.

I am not arguing with you, you are right. Nothing is good value in Bulgaria, except the girls--you can't beat the price, they are free. Also, maybe the skiing? For the same price you get a week in France or Switzerland, you can get two weeks in Bulgaria.

You two clowns, should read some statistics and math theory and understand what “average” means. Than and only than can you express an opinion in that matter.

Dzingis measures in bier!
FIGMENT measures in expensive worthless crap from 5th ave!
Children usually measure in sweets and toys
…………….
…………….
Should I continue?
Haha, what a pack of dummies those two.

What is the most important conclusion from the Sofia Mayor elections on November 15, 2009?
That the ruling party GERB of PM Borisov continues to be hugely popular, whereas the Socialists are pretty much out.

That the decline of the Socialist Party has stopped whereas the ruling party GERB has failed to attract the expected very high number of voters.

That the Sofia residents are either completely disillusioned with politics, or care little about who is Mayor.

That the record-high jackpot of the Bulgarian State Lottery "Toto" generated much greater interest than the Mayor elections.
