Russian foreign ministry spokesperson, Maria Zakharova, harshly criticized Bulgarian MPs for the recently established ad-hoc inquiry parliamentary committee that is to investigate alleged Russian and Turkish interference in Bulgaria’s internal affairs.
The committee was set up last week and is to investigate facts and circumstances related to allegations of interference, on the part of Russia and Turkey, in the internal affairs of Bulgaria.
Reminding the common history of the Bulgarian and Russian people, Zakharova identified the committee as ludicrous and absurd....
Thanks for "Ferret", Tania. The ermine loved Lady. The ferret "loves" cow, sorry...
The west is being betrayed by its leaders who will spread the disease to any other leaders prepared to betray their people. Western citizens have been silenced by laws which have destroyed their freedoms and which will be brought in here unless people see what is happening in time to stop the rot. Already it seems likely that parts of Bulgarian history will be rewritten so as not to offend - something which happened decades ago in the west so that young people there do not know their own true history and are ashamed of their own country as a result of what they have been taught in school.
S*-***, (aka Rurik, you can change your name but not your nature) you ignorant little ferret. So predictable, it didn't take long for you to scarper out of your little hole and make your usual sarcastic inarticulate and vulgar comments. Yes, Russia helped get rid of those heinous Turks, what you never fail to remind us of and sneer at, as "the yoke": and then in time it was replaced by "the yoke" of Russia that us Bulgarians had to put up with, and still do. This is what you and your Russian comrades have become, a Russian yoke on BG. Don't you get it? Bulgaria just wants to be Bulgaria without any interference from Turkey or Russia. BG has always been stuck between a rock and a hard place with Russia and Turkey vying for the most attention and influence. At the present time it's the egos of Erdogan and Putin clashing in European affairs, as they both need to prove and out do eachother as the stronger and most powerful leader. And Bulgaria is their pawn. History is history, and BG remembers the good the bad and the ugly in our own history. Turkey and Russia will always have common chapters in history with BG; but as Daniel Mitov rightly said in his recent essay, "Bulgarian History Do Not Need A Traffic Cop". That applies to Russia AND Turkey. We give thanks to anyone that deserves it in our history, but we won't remain on our knees about it forever, as you seem to expect us to. We joined the West and we had/have every right to do so. It's our choice, not anyone else's. So just back off and leave it alone. The great irony and the arrogance of Russia is, that they continue to be meddlesome and highly critical and even sarcastic relating to BG state affairs; but if anyone dares to interfere or comment on Russian state affairs, it is not appreciated, and the snide remarks and the "anti-Russian" card gets brought out, every time. The Kremlin does not tolerate any interference. So why would BG not feel the same about our own sovereignty? And BTW, as I've told you many times, I am not pro USA. And at the moment Merkel is Europe's biggest traitor for opening the floodgates to Europe and its pending destruction, and that is worrysome and disastrous to say the least, for all of us. So please stop being so thin skinned and one-dimentional. No-one is "spitting" except for you -other people have an opinion. Deal with it.
And let's be honest!!!! Being or not being grateful to Russia we are f...t by the West big way.. and of course betraying us the West will f...k itself too big way!! but Germany has to sell cars to USA and the bankers need mortgage payers... so....the West cant be saved.. and we should not try to.. it is not our job..our job here is survival ... unfortunately we are in this situation no matter how it sounds.
No we will not be grateful for ever.. this is part of the human nature.. But miss Oz obviously do not know the content of the Bulgarian folk songs from the Ottoman time. Thousands of them..accumulating for centuries.. which tells me that she is not part of the Bulgarian national layer.... she is coming from some different establishment -:).
