So I am walking in my field and find a box of coins that someone lost/hid 1,000 years ago and I decide that "finders keepers" applies. Am I a "thief" and if so, from whom have I "stolen"? The unknown and undiscoverable person who left it there all that time ago? The State, which didn't even exist then but which has now decided that IT owns someone else's property?

I loathe these type of people that steal, smuggle, desecrate and financially gain from ancient artefacts. And why is the arrested illicit trade dealer's name undisclosed? Surely it would be in the best interest publicly for many reasons to know who this despicable person is. Is it because he is rather well connected maybe?
