Commenting article: Juncker Unveils New EU Migrant Quotas Proposal

EU Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker has officially proposed the introduction of binding quotas of asylum seekers each member state is to fill.

In his first State of the Union speech as head of the EU's executive body, Juncker has said the distribution of migrants is to involve some 120 000 people more than had been previously planned.

Germany is to receive the biggest number (31 443) of migrants under the newly proposed scheme, followed by France (24 031) and Spain (14 931). All the countries involved will thus have migrants from Italy, Greece and Hungary (the countries most severely affected by the influx) relocated on their territory.

Poland, which had for some time been reluctant to the scheme, will have to accept 9287 more people if it is approved.

Frenchie, very shallow knowledge with a tiny dose of reality on Iraq but that's where it all ends.
Since the trend you promote is French I would mention cherche la American! (for all your problems..)
Anyhow I don't like the middle east, It's an outdated, backward, fanatic, ignorant and limited area paralyzed and isolated by religion, ridden with problems and cruelty. Assad is an idiot and so was Saddam. .. The problem in the middle east is old and endless and there is no easy solution. The problem in a messy environment like this has no good solution and dictators like Saddam and Assad happen to be the lesser evil. You mentioned some knowledge on Iraq and the war the Americans made there. The fact of the matter is that Iraq now is a way worst country than during the Saddam time. Hundreds of thousands of Iraqis died which was unthinkable during Saddam's time. Now Iraq is run by Terrorist organizations.
What you don't know is that the US tried to weaken and destroy Assads regime for many years. Sanctions were imposed on Syria for many years weakening Assads control and strengthening the Islamic terrorist organizations spilling over from Iraq and Afganistan. Now pretty much the terrorist are in charge of Syria.
The bottom line here is that the American strategies and fantasies to weaken and remove dictators in the fanatically religious Islamic middle east and "fix" those countries don't work.
The middle east is a problematic region and balanced dictatorship appropriate for the present time is the most stable and peaceful solution. Else the whole world will pay the price as you can see it.
Things in the middle east will get worst before they get worst!

actually Eurasian, Russia is responsible for the situation in Syria, by propping up the Assad regime. Russia should take all the syrian refugees. US and UK should take Iraqis.

Send all those immigrants to the US and UK.
Or at least make them pay the bill.
The US and UK made all that problem by starting the war in Iraq and destabilizing the whole middle east creating new and more terrorist organizations presently infiltrating Europe.
Hold the US and the UK accountable!
