I'm surprised that nobody really addresses what the people of Crimea want. If you care to dig down in history, you will find that there were actually Bulgarians who also lived in Crimea, but they do not claim it as there native land.

Saarland reunited with W. Germany in 1958, then East and West Germany reunited, how about, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona and California joining the US?
