Bulgaria's State Commission for Energy and Water Regulation, DKEVR, announced late Monday evening its final decision on electricity prices, which shall enter into force on August 1.
Customers of the three power utilities will pay an average of 5% less per kWh.
The cost of daytime electricity fell by between 4.12% and 4.9% for the three power utilities, while nighttime energy will be by 3.43% to 6.82% cheaper effective August 1....
As from 01 August 2013 you report the new Electricity Night rate for Energo - Pro customers to be 0.9/kwh. This seems to me to be disproportionately high when compareed to the 0.09/kwh published rate for CEZ and EVN customers.Or, is this a typing error which should read 0.09/kwh for all 3 companies?
If Germany choses to ban nuclear and favourite green then they need to pay the price for that.
It is not because they are idiots Bulgarians need to make the same mistake... (They already did but did not yet pay for all those idiocy. And they don't have the money neither)
Besides the price people pay is much higher then 8 cents. If you combine night/day (let's say 50/50) then it is 10/10,5 euro cents.
Then you need to know the time periods for night are very short and do not count in weekends like other countries where the whole weekend is night tariff.
I'm not speaking of all those grants people get for making their house more energy saving and much much more!!!
If you compare those prices to the average income then Bulgarians even pay more then you probably.
Comparing the price only is not an honest way, it does not show the real figures behind it.
These prices are rediculous, 8 Eurocents per kWh?! I pay 28 in Germany...
Why they didn't lower the taxes on the electricity?! Will they also lower the prices the energy company have to pay for the purchase of power from NEK?
The energy system in Bulgaria is in a critical state and need huge investments. Now, no one will invest in it...
And btw. the 5% will not really make the Bulgarians any richer...
