Bulgarian prosecutor’s office is expected to come up with a statement on Wednesday on the fake ballots scandal that rocked the country just a day before the early general elections.
State security officers seized 350,000 fake ballot papers, prosecutors said on Saturday, a day before parliamentary elections which saw no party winning a majority, resulting in more political turmoil.
The Bulgarian prosecution is not participating in scenarios for destabilizing the country - to the contrary – it is carrying out its duties as postulated by the law, Chief Prosecutor, Sotir Tsatsarov, said on Tuesday.
"If someone wants to see the prosecution as a passive side, a simple observer of breaches and crimes – they are confusing the times, the person, and everything else. We will not wait to fin out who will form the next government and then take sides. We have been accused of being close to national treason over a certain probe. We are not national traitors, we are the prosecution," the Chief Prosecutor stressed.
He explained that the news about the operation of his office, conducted jointly with the State Agency for National Security, DANS, in the now-notorious ballot printing facility near the capital Sofia, has not been released by them on the day of reflection (the day before the general elections on May 12 – editor's note), but by someone else....
Bozidar Vasilev, the printing expert sent by the Prosecutor to investigate the Multiprint "scandal" made a statement on May 10 in which he confirmed "roughly the percentage of overprinting ranges from 4-5 percent" and concluded that there was nothing out of the ordinary witnessed at Multiprint "I find it completely normal to overprint and standard practice for overprinted ballots to stay after printing." At the press conference Tsatsarov chose not to use the testimony of the printing expert he had appointed.....
Philippe, Ivanko, Mephisto etc - here is an interesting explanation on the 'fake ballots' provided by the commie MP Petar Kanev who also happens to be the leader of the Bulgarian print union.
"The 350,000 ballots discovered at Multiprint are within acceptable overprinting limits, said Petar Kanev of the BSP. Standard overprinting of units may be between 0.5 and 5% said Kanev. In the case of 350,000 ballots these are well below 5%, because the order of the Council of Ministers was for 8,340,000 units"
I wonder why the Prosecutor, Stanishev, the Turks, the Fascists, Novinite & the rest of the Commie-Turk controlled media have chosen to ignore this - perhaps it doesnt it their agendas?
Ivanko and Mephisto - you are both clearly confused, ignorant or most likely both. Why dont you take your fingers out of your ears, your heads out of the sand and read the allegations and view the scanned copies of the paperwork before offering your sage opinions?
What you are saying is that someone else broke in to this company, printed ballots there, left them there and then called the prosecutor that everything has been done and the trap has been set.
Of course then the police come and hey, those commies did it again?

I wonder if Tsatsarov will make reference to the documents released in the early hours of this morning that points to the entire Multiprint scandal being fabricated by the MRF (Peevski) in collusion with state security and the Socialists who ''leaked'' the story for maximum effect on the day of contemplation (when all political lobbying is prohibited)?
