Commenting article: Why Bulgaria Has Image Issues in the Netherlands

Reading the Dutch Survey at Novinite.com (Sofia News Agency), it seems that the relations between Bulgaria and the Netherlands couldn’t be warmer. In Dutch media and society, however, the image of Bulgaria can do with some serious polishing.

Your problems are our problems, just like your interests are ours as well, Dutch Ambassador Karel van Kesteren said in an interview for Novinite.com this week, explaining the relationship between the Netherlands and Bulgaria.

I agree, a very good article and it describes very well how Bulgaria is perceived in most EU countries. There is nothing anti-Bulgarian in the article, in the contrary.

Hoi! I’ll give the credit where it’s due--This guy has the balls to write an article that reflects the ground truth despite the danger of been labeled as “undesirable” foreign journalist for his perceived anti-Bulgarian views.
