Commenting article: English Language Use Triggered Sofia's Double Homicide

The double murder at Sofia's "Solo" Club has been an act of self defense, a friend of the alleged killer told Darik radio Tuesday.

24-year-old Bulgarian, Iliyan Todorov, was arrested for the double murder of Vasil Alexandrov and Kiril Vazharov, and is charged with homicide.

Todorov's friend, identified as Stefan, said that the two were among a group of software experts showing Sofia to foreign colleagues during the night of the murder.

....Stefan declined to state his last name with the explanation that he FREED for his life.

What is FREED supposed to mean, dear brutally illiterate author?

And how old is the murderer? In this articles he's said to be 24 and in another one - 22. Don't you ever check your sources for Christ's sake?

So Bulgarians finally start to admit their intense xenophobia (except towards their Russian brothers)? Maybe things are changing...

You're the best excuse for giving up women that's come down the pike in a long time!

"About the "english" part- this can be true actually- I seen episodes where people speaking in English (in clubs) were harrased by other "customers" (usually drunk) and usually told "this is Bulgaria why don't you speak Bulgarian?" and ofcourse a fight starts."

I want to see it happen to some Russians, actually:"Hey tovarishti, this is Bulgaria, why are you speaking Russian?"

Of course, it never happens in the US: "Hey amigo, this is America, why are you speaking Spanish?" I wish it would.

The whole story sounds so fishy. I heard a friend of the murdered "mens" getting interview and he had his story and ofcourse he told 180degree different story- yes- they were innocent blah blah.. who told the truth? who had knies? who were tehse "foreigners"? What type of "softare engineers" carry knives?

About the "english" part- this can be true actually- I seen episodes where people speaking in English (in clubs) were harrased by other "customers" (usually drunk) and usually told "this is Bulgaria why don't you speak Bulgarian?" and ofcourse a fight starts.

When I see foreigners in some (underline this word) places speaking another language besides bulgarian I know they are putting a nice "target sign" on themselves. It can happen a lot depending where you go to- ofcourse it does not happen at a Play, Opera or Classical Concert where the majority of the elderly people in this forum frequent...hahahaha

Are you deliberatelytrying to be nasty (again)?

I quit my job when they asked me to pimp for some buyers coming into town.

I have NEVER given up my religion.

You just love to taunt, don`'t you? DA was right. You're a troll.

"In my day, it was called pimping."

Total scum these groups 'of software experts showing Sofia to foreign colleagues during the night' - I still prefer the drunks from the local pubs.

"THis country has no judicial system......why even bother to report the murders....no one EVER gets convicted."

I disagree. The judicial system is just fine, it is the law enforcement that needs to be upgraded. As for the lack of convictions--there must be some very good lawyers in Bulgaria and some very bad public defenders. You know--the OJ Simpson syndrome. The criminals with the expensive lawyers walk.

At least come up with a better lie! English!???

It doesn't matter what the lie is........the boy will not be convicted! He is a son of a high ranking BSP memeber and this is Bulgaria. THis country has no judicial system......why even bother to report the murders....no one EVER gets convicted.
