Commenting article: McCain-led Republicans Craft Alternative to Obama Stimulus Package

Five Republican Senators led by the former presidential candidate John McCain put forth Tuesday an economy stimulus plan of their own challenging the USD 885 B bill of the new US President Barack Obama.

"I cannot and do not support the package on the table from the Democrats and the Obama Administration. Our country does not need just another spending bill, particularly not one that will load future generations with the burden of massive debt", McCain said in an email as quoted by the Washington Times.

I think Canada still made pence pieces like to commemorate an event. Like one for King George in the 30s..

"As in prior to `1965 the canuckiez used to use pence. "

qwerty,

Canadians used pence prior to 1858--the year the Canadian dollar was accepted as official currency. You are off the mark by more than 100 years. :-)

1965 was the year of the inauguration of The National Flag of Canada.

Your Socialism is on its way up, ours on its way down.

Actually I so agree with that one. But most Americans don't even realize it. Ignorance is so expensive and way annoying.

oh and pence could be Canadian currency too. As in prior to `1965 the canuckiez used to use pence. :)

qwerty is definitely American - hey guys face it your Socialist are much more "real" than ours.
Your Socialism is on its way up, ours on its way down.
You are nationalizing, we are privatizing.

There are, however some realities that haven't sank in yet - that of the fact that the US is sooo in the poor house, and yet some of you still act like they can "buy" countries....

... but reality will kick in....

McCain and the word Republican should never mix. He is a democrat.. Not like Obama who is a socialist...Like an old time democrat.. who is wanting to woe socialists and commies.. Thats McCain. Republicans should stay away from him, avoid him like the plague. They should sit under Palin and hope that a drop of perspiration lands on them..
