It is the memory of computer and it is advised here that a person should try to get the maximum RAM that he can afford. In any case, a person should buy computer with at least 512MB of RAM. If requirement of student is of creating videos or student wishes to become a photographer, digital composer etc, it is better that a person selects computer that has good hard dist space like 120GB. This is because these are compact sized computers and can be taken from one place to another in an easy manner. Even a person can carry this in briefcase or backpack. If all work is done by student on computer at home, itÃÂs no use spending money on laptops etc and desktop can serve the purpose very well. Whatever is the type of computer chosen, it must have upgraded technology. Similarly, while buying laptop or computer notebook, a student should take decision regarding display very carefully. There are two types of displays available, which are Active Matrix and Dual Scan. Active Matrix is more powerful, costly and provides wider visual area and sharper image. For using multimedia software, it is the best.

These include performing safety maintenance, not opening files from strangers, fighting spam and online scams with technology, leaning how to protect computer form spyware, taking precautions while using wireless, and protecting computer with password.
