Sofia Mayor Boyko Borisov met Friday a friend of the student, who was brutally killed in a drunkard's fight, at the day when a mourning rally in his memory was held in the capital city.

Stanimir Todorov shared with Borissov details about the last minutes of the victim Stoyan Baltov he witnessed.

„Several boys who were going to the club near the place Stoyan was killed tried to help me. They called an emergency medical team immediately. The ambulance however came at least 30 minutes after we sent the signal," Todorov explained.

"For 15 minutes I kept my finger on the pulse of my friend. He was still alive," he added.

"The rally we stage today is a mourning procession, it is not a riot. We just would like to ask the authorities to react," the student said.
