Life of the 52-year-old man, who was splashed with hydrochloric acid in Bulgaria's town of Gorna Oryahovitsa, is out of danger, doctors reported Tuesday.

Georgi Hadzhiivanchev suffered heavy burns on the face, the neck and the hand. The corneas of both of his eyes have also been seriously harmed by the dangerous liquid.

The victim, who was taken for an emergency treatment at the Clinic of burns management and plastic surgery in the Danube town of Russe, told reporters he suspects his attacker is a tenant of his.

„I know who did that to me," Hadzhiivanchev said.

The investigation on the case continues.
