The Professor of Computer Chemistry at Sofia University, Boris Galabov, received Monday the Grand Science Prize of BGN 10 000, bestowed by the school as part of its 120th anniversary celebrations.

The special awarding ceremony took place in the hall of Alma Mater.

"A total of six professors have been nominated for the prize and the winner was chosen by a two-stage secret vote," explained Professor Ivan Ilchev, Rector of Sofia University.

After awarding Professor Galabov, the university's celebrations will continue with a special anniversary parade in downtown Sofia of the University's students, faculty and staff.
