The first Bulgaria's labour market meting abroad was opened Saturday in Spain's capital city of Madrid.
Representatives of nine Bulgarian and few Spanish companies met potential employees among the Bulgarian diaspora in Madrid.
The participants have expressed interest mainly in the size of the salaries and the labour conditions offered by the employers.
The event has been organized by the Labour Ministry and opened by Minister Emiliya Maslarova and Sofia Ambassador to Spain Ivan Hristov.
"Bulgaria does its best to attract back the emigrants, who are well-motivated to live and work in their home country," the minister said.
She emphasized on the fact that the unemployment rate in Spain has already reached 10,5% due to the current financial crisis, while that index in Bulgaria does not exceeds 6%.
Now in Madrid live a total of 32,000 Bulgarians and their number across Spain reaches 150,000.
