The foreign ministers of the EU member-states adopted Monday the text of a message to be sent to the newly elected US president, Darik News reported.
The message of the six-page address concerns mainly the great desire of the block to play a more important role in the bilateral relations between Europe and the United States.
EU declares also it is ready to take more active part in the missions in Afghanistan and the Middle East.
The document was adopted during the unofficial meeting of the foreign ministers in Marseille, France.
It will be sent to US as soon as the name of the new US president is officially announced.
