Ahmed Emin's suicide note has been addressed to Ahmed Dogan, leader of Bulgaria's ethnic Turkish Party Movement for Rights and Freedoms (DPS), to Emin's father and to Emin's children, according to Darik radio private police sources.

The letter was three pages long and was written in a small notebook found on Emin's body.

The firs page of the letter was addressed to Dogan, the second was dedicated to Emin's father and the third page was for his children. At the end of his letter Emin had asked his loved-ones to forgive him.

Emin's body was found Friday afternoon in the Sofia neighborhood of Boyana, in the notorious estate, allegedly belonging to Dogan. So far the investigating prosecutor in the case of Emin's death has supported the initial version that it has been suicide. Emin was found shot with his own gun. The investigators also revealed Sunday that they have found a suicide note left by Emin, but the note's authenticity is yet to be confirmed.

However, Emin's father, the mayor of Emin's native village of Kozitsa Hassan Hayrula and other people close to Emin and who knew him well do not agree with the official suicide version.

The investigators did not reveal the fact that they have found the suicide note until late in the day on Sunday. The explanation offered was that in order to make sure it has been written by Emin, they first had to send the note for graphology testing. The expertise has confirmed that the note is written in Emin's handwriting, according to authorities in charge of the case.
