The forty-three Chinese kids from the China's earthquake-hit Sichuan province arrived Friday in Sofia, where they will spend four days on a history and entertainment tour of the Bulgarian capital.

This is part of their vacation in Bulgaria, for which China decided to spend the EUR 100 000 provided by the Bulgarian government as humanitarian aid to the devastated Sichuan Province.

The kids arrived in Bulgaria on August 4, and already spend several weeks in the resorts of Kranevo on the Black Sea, and Ribaritza in the Balkan Mountain.

"By visiting our sea coast and our Balkan Mountain, you have already felt a significant part of the Bulgarian history and culture, and this acquaintance with Bulgaria will continue in Sofia", the Deputy Minister of Culture Lazar Lazarov told the Chinese children in his welcome address.
