American University in Bulgaria Welcomes Its Most Diverse Class

The American University in Bulgaria (AUBG), which is located in the southwest Bulgarian city of Blagoevgrad, is going to welcome the most internationally diverse class in its 16-year history on September 1.

54% of all first year students come from abroad, which is a total of 257 students from 25 countries. For the first time AUBG will have students from Canada and Zimbabwe.

Nine new professors from Bulgaria, USA, UK, and New Zealand will join the faculty of the university, which had a budget of USD 10 M in 2007-2008.
