High Voltage Kills Former Bulgarian MP, Wife

The former right-wing MP Plamen Peykov and his wife were struck dead by the high voltage in the bathroom in their house in Bulgaria's village of Strazhitsa late on Sunday.

There were no signs of violence on the bodies, authorities reported.

The man, 41, who was once a member of Democratic Forces Union, has recently working as a manager of a local bank branch.

The circumstances that led to the fatal accident have not been established yet.

The Regional Prosecutor's Office in the town of Veliko Tarnovo is still working on the case.
